SELA (State Early Learning Alliance) is an innovative shared services model that increases the resources that providers have access to, promises significant cost and time savings to support your focus of resources on reinvesting in quality care initiatives and gives providers access to a strong network of peers for collaboration and sharing of best practice.
Shared services is a framework that allows multiple early care and education sites to pool needs and share resources, including staff, information, skills and funding, in order to improve the capacity to provide high quality care. Cost savings in shared services is a new way of doing business that taps into buying power through pooled purchasing. Programs save an average of $6,000 - $10,000 or more every year and teachers can save up to $1,000 each year. Some of these benefits even extend to families you serve. Your success in SELA is dependent on your commitment to using the many benefits provided to maximize your time and cost savings. You choose which benefits are most beneficial to you.
